"Today, more than ever before, life must be characterised by a sense of universal responsibility, not only nation to nation and human to human, but also human to other forms of life"

- The Dalai Lama

As WATS, our mission is to form alliances with, and use the innovation of, the world’s leading ICT companies for conservation and environmental initiatives across the world. We do this by partnering with global funding teams, made up of foundations, businesses and governments, who share a common vision of global conservation.

We also educate and empower rural communities, through the WATS ICT educational initiatives, to sustain and support conservation projects deployed around their local environment and to create portable skill sets which youth can migrate to other ICT opportunities within their countries.

WATS has to date brought together 19 organisations in 4 countries, from both conservation and ICT bringing their individual expertise to the collective goal of making a significant technological advancement in anti-poaching initiatives. Focused on asset tracking wild animals in real time with intelligent sensors able to monitor the state of health of the animal for early warning to prevent loss of life.
